About this guide and how we choose

Utah Gym Equipment is an independent guide to home and garage gym gear for people in Utah, run by WellTracked.

What this site is

Setting up a home gym raises the same questions every time: what to buy first, what fits the room, where to see it in person in Utah, and how not to get burned on a used rack. This site answers those, with a builder tool and a product list for people ready to buy.

How we choose

We have not tested these products ourselves. Nothing on this site claims hands-on testing, lab results or scores of our own. Instead:

  1. Specs come from the maker or the listing. Heights, weights and capacities are quoted from the product listing or the maker’s spec sheet, such as Concept2’s RowErg specs.
  2. Utah stores are checked on their own pages, with a date. Addresses and hours come from the store’s or institution’s page, for example Utah Home Fitness and University of Utah Surplus. No store paid to be listed, and we list no invented stores or listings.
  3. Safety points come from the agency. Treadmill warnings come from the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
  4. Maker claims are labeled as claims.
  5. No scores, no star ratings, no prices. Prices change daily and we have no test data to score with.
  6. Uncertain means we say so. If a fact could not be confirmed from a reliable source, it is not on the site.

How the site earns

Some links go to Amazon with our affiliate tag. If you buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That never decides what we recommend. Store listings are not paid. Details are on the affiliate disclosure page.

Who we are

Utah Gym Equipment is operated by WellTracked, a small publisher of independent guides. We are not affiliated with any gym, store, marketplace, equipment brand or maker named here.
